Maturity, measured as a team — planning-poker style
A simple ritual: everyone votes blind, you reveal together, and MaturaScore surfaces the disagreements to discuss. Built for how we work today — remote, hybrid or in person.
Why measure as a team, and blind
An averaged solo score smooths over disagreements instead of revealing them. The workshop does the opposite.
Interactions over tools
The first agile value. A workshop creates the conversation a solo survey never will — and that's where buy-in is born.
Blind voting neutralises anchoring
Everyone commits before seeing the others. You avoid conforming to the first opinion voiced or the manager's.
Disagreement is the richest signal
A gap on a practice often says more than the score: it reveals the practice is experienced differently across roles or teams.
Alignment, not just a score
The goal isn't the number, it's shared understanding and a starting point the team owns.
A workshop in six steps
Gather the team. Ideally 5 to 8 participants, face to face. Share the link — no account needed. The workshop favours human interaction over the tool (the 1st agile value).
Read and explain the practice. For each practice, the facilitator reads it aloud and a participant explains the agile principle it describes.
Discuss to consensus. The team aligns on the meaning. Timebox to 3-5 min; if no consensus, the coach or Scrum Master decides.
Vote blind. Everyone picks their 1-to-5 card without seeing the others' votes — to avoid anchoring.
Reveal and discuss gaps. Reveal the practice: votes appear at once. Where dispersion is high, take time to discuss — that's the most instructive part.
Move on, then close. Work through the practices. On close, each item's average becomes your score and the co-built radar imports into the read-out.
Remote, hybrid or in person
The maturity workshop was born when teams sat together. Work is hybrid now: going digital keeps it viable everywhere, without losing what matters.
Remote
Share a link, everyone votes from home. The reveal is shared on screen over video and the discussion happens out loud. Nothing to print.
Hybrid
Part of the team in the room, the rest remote — the same link for all. No one is left out based on their in-office day.
In person
For co-located teams or an offsite, a printable kit (criteria cards and voting cards) lets you play the workshop around a table.
