This policy explains how MaturaScore, collects, uses and protects your personal information, in accordance with Quebec's Law 25.
1. Data controller
MaturaScore is a service operated by MaturaScore, a company based in Montréal (Quebec, Canada). MaturaScore acts as the controller of the personal information collected through the MaturaScore platform, within the meaning of Quebec's Law 25 (Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information).
2. Information collected
We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the service:
- Account information: first name, last name, work email, organisation, role.
- Diagnostic content: maturity questionnaire responses, scores and related notes.
- Billing data: processed by our payment provider (no card number is stored on our servers).
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, connection logs, for security purposes.
- Information submitted through our contact forms.
3. Purposes of processing
Your information is used to:
- Create and manage your account and diagnostics.
- Produce your maturity reports and improvement plans.
- Respond to your requests and provide support.
- Ensure security, billing and the proper operation of the service.
- Inform you, with your consent, of our content and updates.
4. Consent
We obtain your consent in a manifest, free and enlightened manner, notably when you submit our forms. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand, by writing to info@maturascore.com.
5. Retention period
We retain your information for as long as your account is active and for the period necessary for the purposes described, as well as for applicable legal, accounting and security obligations. After these periods, information is securely destroyed or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Under Law 25, you have the following rights:
- Right to access your personal information.
- Right to rectify inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Right to withdraw consent to processing.
- Right to portability: obtain your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
- Right to file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
7. Security
We implement reasonable security measures — encryption in transit (TLS), role-based access control, logging and hosting with reputable cloud providers — to protect your information against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration.
8. Cookies
We use cookies strictly necessary for the platform to operate (session, security, language preference) and, with your consent, audience measurement cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse non-essential cookies.
9. Transfers outside Quebec
Some of our providers (hosting, payment) may process information outside Quebec. Before any transfer, we conduct a privacy impact assessment and ensure that the information benefits from adequate protection, governed by appropriate contractual agreements.
